While I am always happy to be contacted directly I often do not have much finished stock at home and am currently struggling to meet the demand from the galleries who exhibit my work.
I really appreciate their belief in me and support for my work and encourage you to visit their shops or at the very least their web sites.
In no particular order these are my choices for best galleries in the country (sorry South Island I haven't got there yet you are my 2013 expansion plan!) based on the artists they show, the quality of their exhibitions and the people who staff them ( I really don't like rude gallery owners!) most of whom have become friends.
Thanks guys!

Leonie is an artist living in Whanganui New Zealand using feathers in contempory and traditional Maori weaving for exhibition and sale.
Hello. We saw your work at an arts fair in London about 3 years ago and loved it and I would love to buy a piece from you. Do you exhibit through any galleries in London or do we have to come to new Zealand ( not a bad plan b!).

Hello, i am interested in a native chief serie or a feather swatch. I love both types. The work though should have a minimum size since i would like to add to two maori paddles i bought in new zealand. My email address is mariacalderon705@hotmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you in the near future. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHi Leone. Great work!
ReplyDeleteI was represented by Angela, Sth Pacific Art Co before it died. She still has my work and wont send it back despite repeated requests. Has she sent yours back? I have contacted a few of her other artists to ask the same question. Best wishes,
